The Cancer Council's Relay for Life is on in Moree tomorrow (Saturday 15th October).
14 team and over 150 participants will take part in the relay, which kicks off at the Moree Showground from 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon and runs through until 10 o’clock Sunday morning.
One of the organisers, Kate Dubois says the last Relay in Moree raised $40,000 and they’re hoping to exceed that amount this year.
She says they’ve got plenty of activities planned during the relay including cricket, market stalls, slip and slide, giant sand pit and entertainment from local musicians including Avenue for Troy.
Ms Dubois says people can still register for $20 at the showground from noon tomorrow (October 15) and people can also donate by visiting the Moree Relay for Life website.
